Why do our site and jump pages show an FTC disclosure for earnings?

We show this to satisfy requirements made by the FTC.

Due to requirements from Amazon from around 2019 and also regulations made by the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) designed to protect consumers, content creators and websites are required to disclose when we use links that generate commissions.  This includes our participation in the Amazon affiliate program, as well as any programs we may be a part of in the future.

To follow the rules set out by the FTC and also to fully disclose any association we have through the links, we show this requirement.

It also aligns with our mission statement – bringing you honest and Critical Tech Reviews.
